The short bio from the Helmar-R319 card back: Teamed up with DiMaggio and Henrich, third-yr. man Keller formed best OF in AL last year. Helped Yanks regain top spot in 1941 over 2nd place Boston by slugging 33 home runs, scoring 102 runs, knocking in 122, and working 102 free passes. Charlie hit .389 in the World Series and broke hearts all over Brooklyn when his 2-run 9th-inning double keyed New York’s crucial Game Four victory. Scribes call him “King Kong” because of his immense strength.
